This series for Discover ID documents the fascinating program at Penn State University where real life forensic investigators are trained.
This series on the Discovery ID Network followed Dr. Bob Shaler, a pioneer in the field of forensic science from Penn State University, as he educated 12 students on what it really takes to solve a case. Students were split into two teams and were given the opportunity to learn techniques used by the professionals. They then applied their knowledge to realistic and gruesome crime scenes designed by Dr. Shaler. (2008)
