In Speed Channel's hyper-charged automotive build show, average Joes from a local shop test their skills against an eight-person all-star team of car builders in a 72-hour challenge to turn a basic car into a custom ride. With just three days of around-the-clock work to complete the task, the pressure to stay awake, alert and motivated rises quickly for each team. The winners are determined by a judging panel headed by iconic car designer George Barris, who created the Batmobile, and also includes electronics wizard "Mad Mike" Martin ("Pimp My Ride") and hot rod craftsman Jimmy Shine.
