Sports activist trying to recreate iconic Michael Jordan moment

Mr Impossible Sports activist Matt Liston is trying to recreate iconic Michael Jordan moment in the new digital series for UNINTERRUPTED

Remember when Michael Jordan shot a free throw with his eyes closed? OK, some of you do, some of you don’t. Here’s the story: 25 year ago during a game against the Denver Nuggets, Jordan attempted and made a free throw with his eyes closed with seconds left.

Now, sports activist Matt Liston, known as Mr. Impossible, is trying on a series for UNINTERRUPTED to recreate that moment for a worthy cause by convincing a current Chicago Bulls player to attempt a free throw with his eyes shut.

It’s a four-part series, and Liston is raising awareness for The Chicago Lighthouse, which serves the blind, visually impaired, disabled and veteran communities.

Three parts of the series have been filmed, and the fourth will be released after the NBA All-Star game. Liston isn’t just trying to get a Bulls player to shoot a free throw with eyes closed, he’s asking anyone to give it a try and capture it on video.
